Our newest project was inspired by the Finnish tradition of distributing a welcome box to every expecting parent.
The box, like a bassinet, serves as a safe place for baby to sleep and includes a mattress, sheet, waterproof pad, blankets and baby hygiene products, diapers, wipes and other useful items the first several months of the baby's life.

Re~PurPurse has had several succesful large drives since its beginning ~
Christmas Project Bags: 120 filled
Pick Me Up Bags: 50 filled
Valentines Day Bags: 30 filled
Donated filled purses and backpacks, all different shapes and size have an average of about 10 - 15 items in them and may vary from travel size to full size.
The value of each content average about $1.00.
The average value of each purse- $3.00.
Average - $13 - $15 per filled purse or backpack.
Re~PurPurse will not turn away any donations: there is always some place we can donate to. We have collected and delivered clothing, children's books, furniture, and kitchen items.
