For our first drive, the Christmas project, we received a large donation of goods from an anonymous benefactor. Thirty-six of each items we badly needed: hats, gloves, scarves, deodorant, face wipes. It was an awesome why to launch our project, thank you to our special friends.

My vehicle had been Re~PurPursed by Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH, who ran a successful week long collection for Re~PurPurpurse; Endless Treasures in Newport, NH https://www.facebook.com/1EndlessTreasures1/ and Vintage Vermont in Chester VT

These purses along with snack packs, kids magazines and clothes went to an organization who helps women and mothers in need of transitional housing or a safe place to live. We often receive excess items from the organizations we donate to. We share what we have so nothing is wasted or sitting unused.

The kids love to help us Re~PurPurse and we have found them to have the biggest, most generous of hearts.

We call our cars, our office, and it is not unusual for our office to be stuffed with goods! In this case, 30 blankets, clothes and bags for our warm weather drive. Thanks to Switchback Consignment for their donation of clothes and purses.

We have received several shipments of handmade soap for our bags from NECA and they smell delicious and look good enough to eat!

A good friend who works at a soup kitchen in Concord, donated about 70 hats, most of the hand made. The women who made these are now busy at work making baby clothing and items for our current drive, The Baby Bundle.

We had a very special donor, someone we had never met, send several boxes of perfume, first aid, make up, jewelry and other pretty items for our Valentines Day purses.
